Lucy is an Animal Health and Welfare graduate from Harper Adams University. Employed at Stallion AI Services since 2017, Lucy specialises in the cryopreservation of animal biological samples, for use in breeding programs and, via company Gemini Genetics, for animal regeneration. Lucy is also a devoted animal owner, with horses, sheep and a much loved and very special cat called Hector!

Lucy has been involved with charity Nature’s SAFE since its conception and assists in sample processing, protocol development, laboratory sample intake and management and heads the charity’s skin cell culture projects. Lucy is also a scientific advisor on the Nature’s SAFE Scientific Committee and has a strong passion for rare breed and endangered species preservation, biodiversity conservation and prevention / mitigation of the effects of climate change.
